Professional care giver who is responsible for the preparation of the patient prior to procedure in the Cardiac Cath Lab .  To assist the physician during the performance of the catheterization.  Participates in unit Quality Improvement evaluation activities.  Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to provide age specific treatment.

Graduate of approved School of Radiologic Technology.

Licensed by the State of New Jersey

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Must have minimum one year experience working in Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider course completion status

Maintains required ACLS course completion status.

Vascular and pacemaker experience highly preferred.
Completion of Dysrhythmia course.
