Description: Performs standard and complex polysomnographic recordings and monitors physiological phenomena throughout such procedures. Administers oxygen and nasal continuous positive airway pressure and employs ventilatory assist devices in accordance with established protocols. Performs special procedures such as multiple sleep latency testing. Qualified Candidate must be: Eligible for Registered Polysomnographic Technologist examination, EEG Technician or Certified Respiratory Therapist BLS Certification required One to three years previous experience in hospital-based or freestanding sleep Center Scoring experience preferred Must have knowledge of AASM Standards Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills |
