Description: ACC Pharmacy, an affiliate of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician I in its Livingston, NJ location. This position assists in the preparation and distribution of medications in a safe and rational manner under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and following departmental policies and procedures. Duties include filling prescriptions, taking patient information, billing insurance companies, checking for outdated medications, checking in orders from wholesalers, assisting patients to ring out sales at POS and making bank deposits. Requirements: High School graduate. Minimum of one year specialty training and/or college recommended. One year retail pharmacy experience is recommended. NJ Pharmacy Registration required. |
