Description:

Responsibilities will include diagnostic surgical pathology, cytopathology and clinical pathology. The ideal candidate will have fellowship training in general surgical pathology with additional training or experience in a sub-specialty or sub-specialties such as hematopathology, cardiac, pulmonary and/or renal pathology.
 
The position requires board eligibility or certification in anatomic and clinical pathology. New Jersey medical license or eligibility is necessary. Opportunities for teaching and research are available. The candidate will join a multi-site hospital-based pathology practice with an annual case volume of approximately 19,000 surgicals, 5,000 gyn cytology and 2,000 non-gyn cytology. The laboratory is accredited by CAP and AABB.
Additional Requirements: The position requires board certification or eligibility in anatomic pathology and New Jersey medical license. Additional board certification in hematopathology is desirable. At least 2 years of work experience in diagnostic pathology is preferred.
